As owner and general manager my company keeps me very busy. I have always enjoyed painting and still do. I make it my first priority to be on every paint job we do, everyday. While my crew is comprised of only professional painters, many with decades of experience, I enjoy working with my employees and knowing that the job is going well. I was born in Boulder some sixty years ago to a house painter named Bob Jacobsen; I have painting in my DNA. I prefer using paint from only the best paint companies as it makes our job easier and your project the best that it can be. Paint technology has greatly improved over the last few years and I make a point to keep up with that technology. Applying the best paint with journeyman experience will give you a great job that will provide your home or business with the protection and finish you can enjoy for years.
Coming to Colorado from Eugene, Oregon, Josh is a happy family man with two beautiful daughters. From managing field operations to caring for a family, Josh handles all things well. In many years of painting, we yet to meet anyone who doesn’t like Josh. In addition, he has a great eye for detail and uses that sharp eye for producing excellent work. He is a brush man like no other. In his personal time, he enjoys taking his family camping and fishing. He is a master fly fisherman who regularly catches and releases trout over 24 inches long. I often joke that I could turn on a hose and he could catch a fish. Weather painting or fishing, he is a master of both. Michael Jacobsen Painting is fortunate to have him.
Coming to Colorado when only 18, Paul started his own painting business and successfully painted in Summit County for over 25 years. He also took to skiing like a fish to water. When it comes to painting, Paul has done it all. His years of experience in the painting field has are a great asset to Jacobsen Painting and all who paint with him are impressed with his patience and skill. Paul has raised two daughters and seen them go off to their own families, and in his free time still skies like the wind.
